My mate says the design of the twin towers is called a ‘trust’ design, where the removal of one part of the building will cause the whole structure to be compromised.

despite the lame attempt at the author to first establish their “unparalleled expertise” i found this report pretty amateurish.
anything that pointed to a plausible lead to conspiracy was reduced to “no it wasn’t…coz WE,experts, say so” 
i think this theory is going way too far but since so many americans believe in scientology or other b.s., i won’t be surpirsed that they believe in this conspiracy.
one thing in the video that made me laugh was NYC mayor saying : ‘we were told the building was about to collapse’. man, that’s a hell of a proof that some guy had its thumb on the detonator… :loco:

What exactly is it that you disagree with?
BTW, did you watch the video in the OP? If you found the report amateurish, what do you call that “documentary”? Camera shake as a proof that an explosion had happened? Why didn’t they show the data from the seismograph instead (which they had shown earlier)? That video seriously made me wonder if it was supposed to be a parody or if it had been created to discredit the non-believers (by making them look really really stupid).
Furthermore, the report is not about the big conspiracy theories. It’s just about the controlled demolitions.

The first bombing of the WTC when my aunt and uncle-to-be were working in the twin towers prompted them to get married. People reacted very strongly to the first attack on the towers, but few if any (I don’t remember exactly since I was only in elementary school at the time) people died. There was anger and fear among the people.
If something that wasn’t a full disaster and that did not cause many casualties, could create that big of a reaction from people, I would think that someone who wanted to have an even bigger reaction would go all out and kill people… a twisted kind of “the end justifies the means.” I will not be surprised if when Bush is out of office and it comes out how his people orchestrated this whole thing, if he doesn’t use this as his defense.
Lets get the terro’s to hijick two more fully fueled planes and let them choose any tall buildings in the USA and do it again.
We need real proof.

the whole idea is stupid anyway. did they have the complicity of the airplane drivers? they hardly needed to destroy some of the tallest most economically important buildings in the country to acheive their supposed goal. urban renewal lol. if they didn’t, believe me, BELIEVE ME ON THIS ONE they didn’t have to make sure the buildings actually collapsed to achieve that aim.
nothing could have been more sure on 911 than that such a conspiracy theory would have developed.

That proves that American engineers can’t bring down a builing if they try! Therefore if they had been in on 9/11 it wouldn’t have gone so smoothly. See the way I can twist your argument around?
2 buildings, 2 planes, a whole mess of science that we don’t understand. End of story.
I can understand the conspiracy theory, but I just have to believe that it is loony tunes.
Maybe the towers were designed to collapse in the first place. 
Bush’s brother wired the buildings with explosives so that when al Qaeda rammed planes into them they would collapse, or something to that effect… Asinine claptrap of the worst sort.

So, this pretty much makes it clear that if there was a conspiracy, the commission wasn’t gonna be allowed to find it, because whatever plots the detainees told the interrogators cannot be verified. Their stories should have been scrutinized to see if they hold up. Consider the parallel of that guy who confessed in Thailand to Jon-Bennet Ramsey’s murder.

Interesting thread, what’s even more interesting to me is that an overwhelming percent of the US population still feels that their goverment had something to do with that terrible day’s events.
But then again, I guess you could always argue that the polls are fake!
