weird i wrote this without knowing that actually this year i can actually take the TT. Thursdays my next day off, should i make a run to monterey for the day? donno, its like 250 miles round trip. may be too much for me. I dont really like long drives alone much anymore. I get bored and sleepy . And i have to fight to stay awake and thats not good. IF i doze off that could be the end.
No bud to take with me either. ONe has half a leg missing and the other is in jail and other buds are too far away or busy. when you be old, your friends are indisposed or cant be bothered !!

Actually i tend to avoid SF altogether and go back to the east bay on days off other than bike riding or going to the ferry building to ride ferries
