Harry’s in Carmel and at my fav hotel the quail where whopper used to be one of only two cats ever to regularly stay there
He was a VIP there and didn’t have to pay any lousy pet fees !
And at the downtown Monterey Intercon hotel we essentially got comped one night because the front desk manager also had a cat like him and we paid for the cheapest room but got upgraded to partial ocean view

Nine inch nails soundtrack, I’m a solid fan of ol’ Trent boy, but his more recent soundtrack work for streaming services has been a bit flat. He did The Gorge and The Killer and neither of them were any good, and Soul, although decent, is possibly the most unremarkable Pixar film I’ve ever seen.

I got 4 years (once a year ) maintenance package for around 1300 dollars total In 2022
A porsche will cost 6k or more for those 4 (with the first free) so you pay for three

Porsche new car msrp start at 70k for the most basic macan gas suv to more than 350k for the 911 GT3 RS
Audi start at around 42k for the cheapest A3 to less than 200k for the most expensive RSQ8
With most audi in the 60 to 100k range

Yeah, Porsche are poorly-made. The sunroof leaks on the Cayenne and the Macan and fills the frame with water and they don’t have any drains. This just stuns me as my car is 33 years old, the sunroof seal has perished entirely, some of it has moss/lichen growing around it, and yet it doesn’t leak a drop!
I do like the GT3 models but the rest of it is just badge tripe.
There’s a countryside road I frequent in the south east of the UK, it’s a main road but tractors leave mud and shit everywhere, some guy drives a steam tractor down it fairly regularly, but the notable car I’ve seen a few times, even in the rain is a Ferrari F40. Those cars are absolute shite to drive in the UK, left hand drive, massive turbo lag, zero visibility, but the owner takes it out in the rain.
This is what motoring is about and what I respect, not climate-controlled warehouses filled with ball-bag Chevelles or BMWs unless they have unique historical significance.
The Porsche 944 is a particular piece of shit as they are worth more now than they ever have been, for what is a crap budget 4-cylinder rustbucket, I don’t think close to £20k is a fair price.
