I want to weld some acrylic sheets together and can’t find the stuff. Tried the shops where they make signs and stuff, but they direct met to the hardware store (and they direct me to another sign shop). Any Chinese name they give me doesn’t result in a positive google/Ruten search.
So…what is the Chinese for “acrylic cement”?
Where can I get it? (online or in Taoyuan/Taipei)

On 168 Chang’an West Road, Taipei, Taipei City is a store making signs of Plexiglas, I am not sure if that’s the same as acrylic.
However, they gave me some of their glue before for personal use.
The thing is…it’s not glue, but a cement (watery) that bonds acrylic together, so it becomes one. Glue will break eventually.
They gave me a liquid which I applied while holding the pieces together.
The parts bounded instantaneously.

That’s exactly the stuff I’m looking for. Did you get any Chinese name for it? I already found out that the main ingredient is Methylene chloride, which is pretty nasty stuff by itself.
