He either rounds up much more than that annually or he’s an outlier. Anyone who knows ppl in IT knows they get several times more than that. IT money is often better in Taiwan than in Europe after tax. Many still get something like €3300 after tax in Germany or France after many years because tax rate is that high (which of course you would dismiss because you know someone earning big bucks in Ireland).
Or maybe he just sucks and doesn’t really deserve better.
Ireland is a small country with Microsoft pouring in a disproportionate amount of capital. It’d be interesting to hear its tech story, but it’s not representative of the rest of Europe.
