Apple: Tomorrow is a day you'll never forget

Something big is supposed to happen tomorrow from the good folks at Apple.
What could it be?
It better not be a new iPhone, or I’ll be royally pissed off.

I highly doubt that because if you notice carefully it says the announcment is not from Apple but from “Itunes” If the announcement is regarding “Itunes” (which it appers to be) then it will have nothing to do with a new physical product. Unfortunately :frowning:

If it’s just a new iTunes version, I’m pretty sure that will be a day I quickly forget.
Unless it’s VASTLY overhauled.

Haha I know what you mean! So odd the way they chose their wording. However, been checking up on google and it appears many think it will be a “subscription” based service on Itunes such as that of Pandora and Rhapsody etc. We shall see!

Subscription based service or maybe AirPlay related… I doubt it’ll be any thing really revolutionary, but you never know…

The least you could hope for is all you can eat. But that ain’t gonna happen.

Look at the Apple notice of the next OS due next year. APPSTORE ON YOUR DESKTOP! WOW! MISSION CONTROL!!! WOOHOOOOOOOO!

Press releases are free. Advertising costs real money.

I doubt they could do the Pandora/Rhapsody model because of preference issues. Users like it but agents don’t. My “star” sounds just like this so you should buy my client’s CD. How are they going to do the ranking/recommend/suggestion? Conflict.

I predict it will be something so truly amazing that it IS revolutionary. You can actually transfer files easily back and forth between your computer and Apple devices.

And hopefully it is with a program other than iTunes.

It seems to be live streaming… anyone excited yet?

Or maybe it’s the Beatles…

So by tomorrow, they actually mean today in Taiwan. Looks like around 11pm tonight in Taiwan.

They have already stated the new iOS software version for iPad is coming out this week. Current version is iOS 3.2 and iOS 4.2 has been released to developers.

Maybe something more???

4.2 is due at the same time
That narrows down the guesses amirte?

Beatles.

It’s going to be air streaming. The Beatles is just the cherry on top.

Big whoop. We bought the Beatles CD box set as soon as it came out and I’ve had it on my iPod for AGES. I’m not buying another iPod when this one (from Jan 2006) finally fails. I’ll buy a massive microSD card and store all my music in my HTC smartphone instead. One fewer device, and no longer owned by Apple! :bravo:

Yes, yawn (if it’s just the Beatles).

But HTC? ugh. shudder Once bitten twice shy.

Always there storage is nice. I still have an 160 gig iPod Classic, but the user interface now seems nearly as archaic as the one on my iRiver. I’d love to see immediately available storage go to 500 mb, but suspect it’ll be moved into the cloud instead.

Yep.

beatles reunion?

aren’t some of them, like, dead?

Beatles? Pretty sure I heard everything they ever recorded, like, 30 years ago or more. “Beatles downloads” on Google nets more than 6.8 million hits. Pretty sure this new thing won’t impact my life in the slightest.

yep, that was it

Where were you the day the Beatles came out on iTunes?

Yawn. I’ve had the Beatles in my iTunes from the first day.

I was happier when Eran Egozy told me that they were getting the Beatles on RockBand. I didn’t really believe him at the time. Then it happened.

I would try to use my iDevice as a drumset but that won’t end well.
