I don’t know if prostitution is actually legal, but regardless of its legality Thailand is clearly a place for sex tourism, so they have the markets for it.
One problem with illegal prostitution is that it doesn’t stop prostitution, and it just means that now girls are pimped out and are of questionable quality, even forced into prostitution. Can’t regulate illegal stuff anyways.
