As an American, let me just go on record and say that OO is wrong. The US government does not give money to minorities. I’m a minority and I’ve never received any extra money from the US government.
It’s not like they ask you what race you are in your tax returns, and calculate your tax refund based on your answer.
Aussie has more than 10%+Asian peoples and growing. Most are happy there, they are small number of people that are not.
Australian politics Asians are doing better, a ethnic Chinese (Chinese father, Aussie mum) has one the top national jobs, better than USA I would say
My personal experience as Japanese with spending more than 100+ days there with Taiwan co workers are friends is great. No contact with police (vs. in USA in smaller Eastern USA town asking are we lost and why where there, as we did not look like others, and at another USA airport on domestic area asking if we are residents).
And nothing like this is Aussie airports (a few times not using e gates on my old passport, greating with welcome back mate). Travel with female Taiwan in Aussie always e gates and no questions.
The USA is a good place, but Aussie is no a bad place as you say
