I am not a fan of SGA or Haliburton or Siakam or any of the players or the head coaches or the teams, cities. It’s just meh. Having said that, the first game had a surprising finish. Last-second winner by Haliburton.

He’s fun to watch, but ultimately, even without medical a condition, because of his lack in size he is only going to get a few minutes here and there, all in garbage time. Height is one thing, strength is another. You have to be really exceptional in speed and outside shooting to make up for your inability to defend taller players who will be just shooting over you. It’s like in sumo where you have small and lighter wrestlers who will never be able to make it to the very top because weight and height is crucial.
I could not read the story as its blocked for me, but that was a surprise as last night he paid the most since being recalled up (played 26 minutes) last week. That is the Chicago Bull waive him two times now.

Nico Harrison played 4-dimensional chess that only he will ever understand. Probably had some kind of deal with his Lakers buddies and the NBA higher-ups. Cooper Flagg turns out to be the real deal, so the Mavs will do fine in the long run. But Jeez, they would be chasing rings right now with Luka and his former teammates, even with him being fat and lazy on defense.
I get why everyone’s excited. He’s looking like one of the best rookies ever with the likes of Luka and LeBron.
But Luka has that clutch gene. We have yet to see if Flagg can be clutch when it counts.
Luka and Jokic both have that special something no one else in the NBA has. And that is the “l don’t give an F, l do it my way” mentality. I guess, Larry Bird was that way.
