Best website to buy used electronics in Taiwan?

Mostly just see how cheaply I can build a pc for. Was inspired by the recent LTT 69usd pc lol.

Seems mostly new stuff though. It is an obnoxious website though lol.

It’s harder in Taiwan because people know what that stuff is worth.

For the most part yes, and obnoxious definitely lol. Best to search for specific models and select second hand. You can also choose other options such as Taiwan only and pick-up only and that will filter out most of ‘that’ garbage and leave the stuff we are looking for.

Welp. Thats fun.

Found a few listings for what seems to be broken laptops? But they are only selling for 1 dollar?
I feel like the website autotranslate may have given me some bad translation as to what was being listed.

You should get a mix of broken and usable secondhand laptops. But always avoid the $1 price ads. Limit the search more on anything in a more reasonable price range like 2k and above, it will save you the headache of scrolling through that type of ‘bait’. I also avoid anything that doesn’t have a fixed price…

They’re not selling for a dollar, they just want you to see the ad first and then ask them what it’s really worth.

Ouch.
Either these sellers are sort of scummy or I am misreading things.
They post pictures of a working boot screen with all the specs.
Then in the description say “CPU not included”.

I looked through and it seems I can put together something from ruten that would cost around $3800nt. That isn’t including shipping. How much are fees usually for shipping?

$60 to your local 711 per purchase usually.

What are you trying to play?

And what parts did you find?

I just want to play valorant at a stable 60 (so aiming for 70-90) lol.
Here is one of the options I looked at:
t3600:
- 8 gb ddr3 ram
- small SSD
- small acer monitor
- cheapest keeb on ruten lol
- gtx560ti 1gb
- CPU in the t3600 should be fine.
I need to look into the CPU included in the workstation a bit more though as I am regretfully very unfamiliar with intel CPUs.

late reply cus of 9 msg limit lol…

No worries. I’ve upgraded your account.

Let me take a look as well to see what I can find. I’m gonna check to see what I can do with your budget of about $4000. Nice and round.

Please allow me a couple days. I’ll drop by Guanghua too.

I think I can do better.

Also upgraded your account for you.

Thanks. I’m in no rush as I am still getting my living situation in Taiwan sorted lol.
A PC is kinda lower on my priority list.

Where are you seeing a Dell Precision T3600 for less than $2000?

It was on Ruten. Missing a few components. I’ll look over the listing again after class to make sure I didn’t miss something lol.

Missing ram, and ssd

I’d love to see. But that GPU is quite old though and that is the most important part.

This is what I found. This i5 and GTX 1050 Ti plus a cheap SSD should get you running quite easily.

How about this:

Marco’s is cheaper and has the same storage and is a tower, but has less memory. With the other one, you would not have to add the memory on your own, in case you want 16GB. Marco’s is probably more expandable. I usually like to buy stuff that has reviews.

I had been putting the gpu on the backburner because I have never experienced being gpu bound in val. So am slightly, uh, unsure of what the minimum gpu is for valorant/csgo.
I have always been cpu bound lol.

That’s a pretty amazing deal if im not missing anything lol.
