I like Scarlett, but not really in that role. It’s not really her fault. It’s just not a very compelling character as written in the Marvel movies.
Bring back a real badass women like Sigourney Weaver I say

I don’t think we’re lacking badass/competent actresses. What we’re lacking are writers able to create interesting characters like Ripley, Beatrix Kiddo etc, and giving them a proper script to work with.

I’ll go see it. Going to pass on Birds of Prey. WAY more excited about The Eternals though.

I am not clear if cinemas will open up. And Disney plus is nowhere in sight here in Taiwan either. Yes, this movie is already available in ehem alternative sources. But it would have been nicer on the big screen. Sigh.
