Brexit

It’s not an argument for it. It’s the precursor. The UK is literally being colonized … because that’s the inevitable outcome of being an incompetent victim. It’s pretty funny that it’s the very people the Brits dismissed as hopelessly backward two centuries ago who are doing the colonizing.

I agree. I don’t think they fully realise what’s at stake here. If they go cap in hand to the EU for a “deal”, well, that’s all folks. The psychological impact of defeat will have repercussions for decades. Poor old Teresa May will be left with the task of closing the door and switching off the lights.

There are two kinds of colonization.

  1. A nitrogen-fixing plant colonizes virgin soil.

  2. An opportunistic infection colonizes a sick organism.

It’s important to keep this distinction in mind, lest we fall for a false moral equivalence.

Since Hitler was a “National Socialist,” I guess any political party that is either nationalist or socialist counts as Nazi. So you see, the Tories, Labour, and Scottish Independence people are really all on the same side!

Aspirations to get EU Unemployment down ? Pay not important if there are no jobs

There’s lots of jobs in most of those countries. Rather get paid more or less?

Also 2018. Brexit already looking foolhardy.

I hope this isn’t a taste of things to come:

Be careful what you wish for with Irish unification.

Of the two, socialism is by far the greater evil.

My, that graphic is revealing.

Some of those countries should up and leave right now. Some of those countries should do all they can to prevent their victims leaving.

Belgium and Germany are imperial powers in disguise. But this “refugee” bullshit is set to end that. This is how empires suicide.

Oh, and neither Greece nor the EU did each other any great favors. Perhaps they deserved each other.

It looks like everyone is saying the right thing round about now. Lets hope there is follow through. I was impressed by the chief constable- bout 5:35. (impressed by some others too but imagine the words may be hollow)

EU unemployment record low.

Among the member states, the lowest unemployment rates in February 2019 were recorded in Czechia (1.9%), Germany (3.1%) and the Netherlands (3.4%). The highest unemployment rates were observed in Greece (18.0% in December 2018), Spain (13.9%) and Italy (10.7%).

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-05-11/brexit-party-has-more-support-than-britain-s-main-parties-poll?srnd=politics-vp

The party, fronted by Nigel Farage and founded only last month, would take 34% of the vote in the May 23 election, compared with 21% for Labour and just 11% for Theresa May’s Conservatives. The Liberal Democrats would get 12%.

A separate poll by the same organization, asking how people would vote in the event of a general election, also makes grim reading for May’s administration. The Conservatives, on 22%, trail Labour in that survey by six percentage points and lead the Brexit party by just one point.

Another survey, by the Conservative Home website and published in the Times, suggested three in five Tory members were planning to back Farage’s group in the EU vote.

When you really truly piss off the voters who voted for something that should’ve happened by now, this is what you get, an even better uprising.

They should have an election or referendum to see what the voters want.
They don’t know even know the meaning of the word uprising coddled middle class pensioners. They shall rise from their armchairs and go forth.

Haha. I bet myself that you’d be the first to respond. Glad you still holding the opposing view. It’s a leaky ship you got, but you’re still plugging away.

I don’t care what Britain does too much beyond not messing up NI and ROI.
Brexit needs to be figured out by British governing class who over promise and under deliver. They’ve been found wanting badly.
