Brexit

Typical pensioner

We are edging closer to our pensions @Brianjones🙂

That’s more like post Brexit EU after other countries follow the UK example and leave the sinking ship.

Keith Moon does not Remain.

I think I have excelled myself with this gem …laughed out loud :joy:

Whatever happens, who are we going to blame?

Jews lol

Next years will be hard for British economy. It will be a case study for new students of economy, why a small country should not leave big trade union

I think the EU will get hurt irreversibly. I didn’t mind it when Thatcher joined, it was a small block of north European countries. Times have changed and like the USSR I believe the EU will crumble. And even if not, I am still not a supporter of big government. I believe more in small , in touch, highly accountable “governance”. The UK has almost nothing in common with Europe, we don’t share a landmass and not even the same language. Good riddance to them if we can actually shake them off!

Like the UK already has? I hope you are wrong.

I remember the UK was begging to get in, and France, at first, rejected the idea.

The USSR and the EU are two completely different things. I think, there are more similarities between the UK and Russia than there are between the two above.

First of all you meant to say; the EU not Europe cause the UK will always be a part of Europe.
And um, what language do we speak in Europe, um I mean the EU?

While the rest of his post is total gibberish, the EU will inevitably get hurt. The UK has a huge trade footprint in Ireland (well duh), the low countries, and Germany. Brexit is not a net positive to anyone except maybe Russia and visitors/students who would find the UK cheaper in the event that GBP completely collapses.

The UK will be cheaper, oh finally. How wonderful.

In Europe you speak I would guess over 100 languages, great thing diversity isn’t it ? I say “you” as you said “we” Oh Eu or continental Europe or whatever you want to call that great inefficient , Orwellian State. Bye Bye EU

Oh no. I’m agreeing with Gain. Is this the beginning of the end for me?

Brexit is a divorce, the two sides are behaving exactly like divorcees, and nobody wins in a divorce except the lawyers.

Amicable divorce is possible, but that requires both parties to be reasonable.

In this case it’s clear that there is no possibility of any deal. Best to bite the pillow and get it over with on March 29th. My birthday, by the way.

And it always takes longer than you thought it would.

As for languages I guess )as the Germans wanted a few years ago), that German will become the official second language of Europe. Wow the Germans are going to be hit hard bailing all those socialist States without both British money and the loss of their huge car export :rofl:business to the UK. I’m sure the Japanese will do well out of this. Oh and don’t expect us to come and bail you out of German domination for the third time. We can work some deals out with our friends across the pond.

I dunno. The Irish are a bit upset with us right now, I think.

It’s a clusterfuck. The question is who will be blamed? Should be Cameron, but my money is on May or the EU.

No deal is inevitable.
