2 months overdate I’ve finally managed to renew my UK passport and what a piece of crap it is. None of the pages match up. It looks shite. Boris Johnson sold this to the French, putting a British firm out of business, and they are taking the piss.
We are a fucking embarrassment. Fat boy has to go.
If it makes you feel any better, American passports are even more worthless and embarrassing now. Everybody’s locked into the plague state. Can hardly go anywheres.
But do they look worthless and embarrassing? That’s my point. The UK can’t even pretend to do soft power anymore.

I was thinking about getting one if I end up living in the UK past the 5 year mark.
It’s not a problem. I’m on the cusp of a gin fueled rant right now. It’s hard to explain because I guess very few other people have received the new UK passports printed in France. Once they have they’ll know.

I don’t know if I will get an Italian passport. But if I end up living in the UK, it might be useful to be a citizen.
I think it’s fine. It would open up your job and traveling worlds that much wider.
Neither Italy or the UK would really give me much trouble from owning one. The only problematic passport I have is the US one, many expats give it up because they find it impossible to be tax efficient.
I was actually thinking of specializing in investment management for American expats, US tax laws are not easy to navigate and not many brokerages wont open an account for US persons.
You’d probably want an EU passport as well Andrew0409 if you don’t have one already, just in case.

ROC only recognises one nationality like the PRC.
I’m Taiwanese, I got naturalized in the US.

not like the prc, Taiwanese don’t need to renounce the ROC nationality to get another nationality or more, though they should give up ROC passport if they want PRC passport.
