The two hot springs I’ve been to. The first one is probably quite a bit out of the way to be honest if you’re around the Alishan area.

In Taiwan people with cars or motorhomes allowed to camp anywhere they want? Like a small mountain roadside, for example?
Or only at designated campside? (mountains, lakes, shores)
