Difficult to know for sure , but I would maybe suppose that this vehicle may have an electronic handbrake . If you have not applied it via the switch , it is supposed to self-apply . Most of the time it does not âŚdepending on ignition being on , I suspect that ignition was left on whilst unloading ⌠no handbrake ⌠and vehicle just rolled down the incline
Whatever happened, the driver doesnât come out of it looking good.

Not sure if he had any choice, it looks to me like he got thrown out when the his foot and front wheel hits the log. The way the van then picks up speed looks like itâs in drive and he had his other foot on the anchor.
