Canada Day Celebration moved to Taiwan, China

As a Belgian I’m not going to reply to that!

You seem to value food over interesting company.:laughing: I can not think of anything more dull than attending a Canada Day event. Such bravado over such limited accomplishments as a country.

Other than reading another one of your self-loathing posts?

It’s a tough call. Reading one of Chewy’s posts or attending a big party with music, food, and beer  Maybe you meant to post this in the funeral discussion?

Go to a party, go to a funeral, or loathe self?

Congratulations Chewy! You’re saved from the agony of hanging out with your ex-compatriots and the pointlessness of self loathing! :rainbow:

I think many epicureans or folks with discerning tastes will prefer erudite commentary as a haute cuisine over Tim Hortons coffee, Tragically Hip songs, and poutine. I have been to many July 1 celebrations but prefer July the 4 to be honest.:joy: Or August 5 — BC Day. Interesting that people celebrate the national one but not their local one so much. So much nationalism…so early 20th Century hahaha.

What’s all this about Dominion Day? :face_with_monocle:
