to be honest, once i got over the fear i got my two shots and im glad i got em
especially last few days when i came down with the flu and at least i didnt have to worry so much about covid because i had my shots.
otherwise i would have been more paranoid then usual
yeah cover anything that “breathes” and that means mouth/asshole? what else? oh yeah and of course penis (I mean NOSE NOSE)
ACTUALLY its well proven that undies and thick levis cant stop a fart so what can a mask do?
Has anyone seen these stories yet. Delete if redundant and point me to the other thread…
A studley fitness instructor… 40 partners?
Well no tourism in asia as yet. wifey flew oakland to LA in a PACKED plane, but her 777 flight to tokyo was only about 1/3 full and …the onwards flight to singapore? She said there were only FIVE passengers on the whole plane. From first class to economy. The crew more than doubled the passengers.
Its no wonder SQ is losing their shirts and their shorts (good thing its govt owned) while airlines in america are clawing back the money.
they didnt do it, but if it was me i would just let all five sit in first class. What the heck right? SQ lost ALL their money on the flight what is five first class meals more gonna cost ya? But the publicity will be worth it. But no everyone kept to the class their ticket stated she said. She was in economy of course.
I get what the airline is doing.
You want to sit up there? No problem! Pay for it.
Guy
He’s Taiwanese, so I’m not holding my breath on him getting an actual, meaningful punishment. That doubles if he happens to be the son of someone in power or someone with money.
Imagine if he was a foreigner.
They don’t even use his real name.
Is sexual relations or fraternizing with a person even covered in these regulations?
Would that be a slippery slope?
Would you think of Foreigner would be harassed to death whether or not there are regulations concerning this matter?
This was a very poor judgment for that fitness coach. (He had no idea he was infected, I’d assume. Criminal charged can only start after he was ordered quarantined)
There are huge fines in place now for allowing this kind of motel party to take place. Staff can get big rewards for ratting them out (22.5k NT).
Maybe it’s a bad translation, but I was under the impression that he knew he was infected when he was meeting people? The translation to English is dreadful though–it translated motel to motorcycle for me, so it was dreadful to get the gist of it.
Plus, isn’t going there outlawed with level 3? I mean, I couldn’t even go for a hike in the arse end of nowhere and take my mask off for a breather without risking a fine. So I’d have to assume meeting 40 people for a roll in the hay in a shitty fleabag sex hotel must have been off limits.
He had symptoms and was meeting people.
Rule was less than five gathering together I believe ?
This guy was moving around different motels, different orgies.
On June 30 Oregon dropped its mask mandate and mask usage went from 95%+ to less that 1% overnight. I saw this with my own eyes. On July 4th Oregon recorded its lowest daily Covid case total – 65 – since the pandemic began. Three weeks later the daily new Covid case rate went up to 1,032, a total not seen since the depths of the pandemic. 97% of those new cases are unvaccinated patients.
Don’t make the same mistake Oregon made and drop mask usage just because 70% of the population is vaccinated. That other 30% brainwashed by pseudoscience about masks is more than capable of fucking the whole thing up again all on their own.
“Our newest modeling indicates that the rate of transmission surpassed the most pessimistic scenario of three weeks ago,” Sidelinger said. “And if that spread continues unabated, our hospitals risk being swamped by virus-stricken patients.”
Also going up: the number of “experts” coming out of the woodwork to show off their latest apocalyptic models.
The vaccines either work or they don’t. If they work, then a rise in “cases” is nothing to worry about: Oregon had 95% of the at-risk population vaccinated, at the last count. That means there are about 25-30,000 people who are theoretically still at high(er) risk from COVID. Historical experience suggests ~20% of them might contract it, ~25% of those might end up in hospital, and ~25% of them might die. So absolute worst-case, we’re talking about 1500 people ending up in hospital and 300-400 people (most of whom will be near the end of their lives, for various reasons) actually dying, over a period of months. And if they’ve chosen not to get vaxed, that’s entirely their own problem and nobody else’s.
Since Oregon has had a total of 2,800 “of or with COVID” deaths over the past 18 months, the true numbers will almost certainly be lower than that worst-case estimate.
To put all that into context, 3,000 people die every month in Oregon, mostly of age-related and self-inflicted diseases, so the worst-case scenario suggests a 2021 all-cause mortality rate increase of perhaps 1%.
And if you think masks will prevent this (hypothetical) problem emerging, the pertinent question is: why do you think that? Where is your evidence that masks have such a dramatic effect on community transmission? And if they’re so devastatingly effective, why do we even need vaccines?
I’m starting to think that the “we must all remain masked forever!” brigade would be a lot happier setting up a little compound somewhere, where they can dress up in quasi-medical uniforms and all pretend to be ill.
Skiing/snowboarding clothes are very good at containing farts. Spend a day on the slopes, then when you get back and de-kit a brown fog emerges like the Smoke Monster from Lost, except more deadly.
Lol possibly a good reason I don’t snowboard
