TMI dude

And I bet the mouthbreathers still say “masks don’t work” despite the evidence presented to them. They’ll probably present their own “facts” taken from a drunk stay-at-home mom’s Facebook page.

It doesn’t bode well for those who suffer side effects when the hospital won’t/can’t do anything else for you:

Couldn’t possibly be any connection to the vaccine anyway, because the vaccines are 100% safe. And don’t forget, the hospitals are overwhelmed - overwhelmed, I tell you - by unvaxxated halfwits turning up dead in the ER. They don’t have the time or the staff to deal with this sort of trivia.

“Functional Movement Disorder” - doctorspeak for “you can’t move properly”.

They should have put “idiopathic” on the front. “Seems like you can’t move properly and we don’t know why”.

Damn, if I’d been a Neuro Movement Specialist I could have charged $200 for this post.

No vaccine is 100% safe.

There were 68 deaths in the United States from complications of smallpox vaccination in the nine years 1959 to 1966, and 1968; 19 were associated with vaccinia necrosum, 36 were caused by postvaccinial encephalitis, 12 by eczema vaccinatum, and 1 by Stevens-Johnson syndrome

The smallpox vaccine is no longer available to the public. In 1972, routine smallpox vaccination in the United States ended. In 1980, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared smallpox was eliminated. Because of this, the public doesn’t need protection from the disease.

Which is, of course, why some people don’t want the COVID vaccine. They’ve evaluated their own risk and decided that it’s not for them.

It would be weird if it was any other way. A wall causes the enemy to figure out ways around, over, under or through the wall.

Apparently Malone has been no-platformed lately.

He’s often headlined as “inventor of mRNA vaccines”, and fact-checkers have lambasted him on the basis that there is never any single inventor for such things (which is true as far as it goes).

His reply is (a) that he has never claimed to be the inventor and (b) he does hold several key patents for the technology. Still, can’t let facts get in the way of a good old-fashioned fact-checking, can we?

Japan just saw close to 10K new cases in a single day. The highest ever since the pandemic began. The Japanese government has reversed their stance on the AZ vaccine and authorized those over 40 to get AZ for free.

It is my opinion that genetic therapy will lead to disaster.
Those of us with friends or family who were victims of genetic disorders have long been following the promise of genetic therapy but they have not moved things ahead because often research has led to cancer or other problems.

I’m not antivax but until you can turn off genetic modifications On queue I think the whole idea of gene therapynot ready for human beings.

If it it turns out that these damages could have been predicted through adequate research and modeling, the people have done this should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

While that is extremely tragic, “days after” isn’t enough time for your body to start generating enough immune responses to defend against the virus. She might have even caught the virus already before she got her second shot, which is even worse. So her body was basically operating with only the protection from the first shot, and first shot alone doesn’t offer enough protection.

“Antibody-dependent enhancement” is a hot topic of debate in the academic literature.

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41564-020-00789-5#Sec1

The hypothesis is that people who contract the disease within the short window of time after vaccination but before development of antibodies may develop much more severe symptoms. There is a related hypothesis suggesting that bodies in this state may allow “immune escape” of dangerous mutations.

But of course, we know that the vaccine is perfectly safe, so this cannot possibly happen.

That is why when Ko wanted to vaccinate all 4,000 people related to the Taipei Agricultural Products Marketing Corporation hot spot without running PCR tests first, people got really mad at him.

Well, some people got mad, most of his supporters were saying what a brilliant cost-saving move.

I sometimes cannot understand why a man that smart can also be that stupid. He’s too clever by a half.

It’s not about the ‘virus’.

Does that include when one brushes their teeth or bathe?
What about eating and drinking?

Meanwhile not a mask in sight;

Abstract

Vaccines are thought to be the best available solution for controlling the ongoing SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. However, the emergence of vaccine-resistant strains may come too rapidly for current vaccine developments to alleviate the health, economic and social consequences of the pandemic. To quantify and characterize the risk of such a scenario, we created a SIR-derived model with initial stochastic dynamics of the vaccine-resistant strain to study the probability of its emergence and establishment. Using parameters realistically resembling SARS-CoV-2 transmission, we model a wave-like pattern of the pandemic and consider the impact of the rate of vaccination and the strength of non-pharmaceutical intervention measures on the probability of emergence of a resistant strain. As expected, we found that a fast rate of vaccination decreases the probability of emergence of a resistant strain. Counterintuitively, when a relaxation of non-pharmaceutical interventions happened at a time when most individuals of the population have already been vaccinated the probability of emergence of a resistant strain was greatly increased. Consequently, we show that a period of transmission reduction close to the end of the vaccination campaign can substantially reduce the probability of resistant strain establishment. Our results suggest that policymakers and individuals should consider maintaining non-pharmaceutical interventions and transmission-reducing behaviours throughout the entire vaccination period.

So maintain “non-pharmaceutical interventions” – masks, distancing, quarantines – during the entire vaccination period or the probability of the emergence of a resistant strain of SARS-CoV-2 is greatly increased.

feels like this right now. lol.
