For better or worse, I am now committed to reporting my positive case to the government. If I go in person to the hospital for verification, will I be able to leave by myself and quarantine at home? I do not want to be stuck in a quarantine facility or hospital. My symptoms are that of a basic cold with about a 38 degree fever.

AFAIK, you’re allowed to go to the clinic/hospital to report and then go back home (a list of suitable clinics etc. in the thread), or you can do it online (details in the thread).
