I was wondering about the Kangchiao report, because I didn’t see anything on the CECC’s daily report about it.
Yep. The school in Taoyuan was closed for disinfecting because the 70 year old guy went there to exercise. Fair enough.

The explanation is simple. 2 kids tested positive and the school was advised to close, so they did.
Why were the students tested? What was their count? In summary, where is the entry on the official CECC website?
Not saying anything but that usually the CECC has more through data. And it’s official data.

How can this guy be infected? When I did quarantine I was strictly told no one should come in contact with me. My food was left by the door and I had to wait the security guy leave my door front before I could open the door. It isn’t allowed to ‘stay 30 min’. If it was I’d friends coming to bring me things instead of the delivery stuff.
Those were the students in Taoyuan, not Kanchiao.
The Kanchiao report only cited Xinbei mayor saying central government informed him.
Now, the kids are not positive test COVID but identified as having antibodies. That’s a different story. And requires a lengthier explanation.

No, the kids at Kangchiao have parents in the airline cluster. Both tested positive for antibodies and were mildly infectious.
Taoyuan was the guy infected who was on campus.

Ok, this is Taoyuan. It says it is related to the pilot cluster. It quotes Taoyuan mayor.
In your quote from the other article it only quotes the New Taipei City mayor.

This one says a second pilot’s so was attending a school in Taoyuan, which was also disinfecting/remote learning
Taiwan News posted this story about the Kang Chiao cases, noting that “two students are children of a China Airlines cargo pilot who tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies on Tuesday. Although one of them was also confirmed to have the coronavirus and was listed as a local case (case No. 1,113) on Wednesday, he registered a high Ct value of 41, which indicates a low viral load.”

Ok, but which is their source? The CNA article on Kanchiao quoted above does not say they are a pilot’s kids. It would be logical and straight forward if such but we do not have CECC release on that yet.
On another note, poor pilot kids. School bullying will be intense. I am concerned.

No. There is information out there on 2 schools in Taoyuan. The data on Kanchiao seems incomplete.
So far the CECC has been transparent. Mistakes in reporting can be made. I do find it weird that there is such detail in TN but not on CNA.
I think these breaches into Taiwans safety net of quarantine and contact tracing are a large wake up call for people here to start taking vaccinations seriously and just do it.
It’s been one too many spins of the wheel of fate/luck and I have a gut feeling Taiwan is about to experience what the rest of the world has been experiencing with the China virus.
You overestimate their parents’ salaries and the kids’ resilience. Bad enough dad is gone most of the time, add fear and rejection to the pile.
