I doubt it. They are pretty good at testing through the chains. If people keep masking up and reduce contacts we should be OK.
If they find somebody with antibodies they’ll try and figure out where it goes back through .
Let’s see.
I think the problem is trying to get back to normal while still under the plague…and that the normal itself was not healthy.
That to me is the only explanation to the sick hotel manager. He kept working sick, a la Japan. He did not choose self preservation over “duty” - or probably pressure from upper management- but he instead avoided the obvious testing for Covid-19. I think that was the issue, more than overconfidence.
Last year there was an weekend curfew in Istanbul but it didn’t apply to foreign visitors. Doing like the Türkler should definitely be out of the question.
Well using chinese or Russian vaccination could infect loads of people and actually start the spread. I’m still sure due to other factors that Taiwan is safe.
So vaccinate people but virus wasn’t dead but live. Rumors are it happened too with sinovac
So, how come Covid Codger seems to be avoiding scrutiny?
Like he went in a quarantine room for 10 minutes–for admittedly good reason—but then decided to just go trotting off rather than tell anyone and went zipping around Taoyuan.
Focus Taiwan has posted a report on today’s three newly reported domestic cases—all workers at the previously mentioned Novotel Hotel next to Taoyuan Airport.
The CECC also reported four imported cases, including a Taiwanese man who returned to Taiwan on March 30 from a work trip to Kazakhstan, an Indian man who arrived in Taiwan for work in February
Another one of those long-incubation-period shhh-definitely-an-imported-case-shhh cases, too.
According to the article, this Indian person also had shortened quarantine period for business travelers (5 days), so it makes me more worried. Would be interesting to see if the contacts test positive for antibodies.
