Coronavirus - Taiwan Open August 2021

Since the migrant workers restrictions was brought up again just a reminder that there is also a more dedicated thread that people can get more info on how things have been these past few months for them.

A Twitter thread by Tricky Taipei who has been contacted by a migrant worker (click link and continue to scroll down to see rest of the posts) shows the restrictions they face at a company. Worker faces a 2 hour restriction for being outdoors and the restriction will only be relaxed when they have received 2 shots…meaning this could last for 2-3 months minimum going by the so-called restrictions the company has set. Even if vaccinated they can only go out for 6 hours.

Only 1 simple meal provided a day, most have to buy food at 7-11 (likely the 7-11 at the company/next to the dorms).
