most people who have died after being vaccinated die within just a few days, and a reasonable proportion on the same day.

It is a number reported maybe by doctors.

exactly. Daily or weekly reported numbers of deaths don’t mean much if not anything.

You need to know how many people were vaxxed at that time, preferably broken down by age, or at least by age group (say, 75-79, 80-84, etc). You need to know the exact followup interval - sounds like about one week - and how many people died. Then you need to know the all-cause mortality risk over the same week in previous years, again broken down by age.

I’m not sure the over the same week part, but it seems they compare the reported death numbers with expected death numbers from all-cause mortality rates from their data between 2016–2019 broken down by age and gender.
