羅一鈞說，會再觀察疫情走向，決定校園是否如期在3月6日開放室內口罩禁令，如果開放後疫情仍穩定，輕症免隔離、免通報的措施，才有可能照規畫方向繼續進行。因此新政策最快也要等3月6日後才會決定、公布。

Nah. They will still publish the daily counts for now, but no fancy LINE messages, no pressers, etc.
If you want to know the numbers, you gotta go hunt them down yourself.
So, I go check daily for my own amusement and thought I’d just keep throwing up the abbreviated cards just for fun until even those no longer come, too.

45,000 hospitalizations and 700 deaths per week? Why, that’s ten times more than the number of COVID cases! Surely the health service will be overwhelmed? Why are the health authorities not mandating masks, border controls, lockdowns, and vaccines? Have they lost their minds?
Wonder what happened in Apr-Aug of 2022, when flu-related deaths apparently doubled. Is that the normal flu season in Taiwan?
EDIT: ah, it seems I misread that - apparently it’s a tally of flu-like disease or its sequelae, not flu specifically.
