Costco Thread 2025

I saw these on my last trip to Costco last week and immediacy had a gag reflex. How is this even hygienic? Doesn’t cheese like that need to be refrigerated? What were they thinking? The stack on the sales table seemed pretty full and I didn’t see any in anyone’s carts.

I saw it too, I wonder if those cheese are made out of plastic or something, it looks that way.

Lol i saw them too.

The cheese is on the outside too. It just makes no sense. Those bagels take a hella long time to cook. The cheese is going to be nuked.

I knew the people working there were retards and this proves it.

I think you’re supposed to take the cheese off, heat it up, and then put back on top. I think that’s what my wife does.

It’s now changed to seafood :sad_but_relieved_face:

Did anyone happen to see how much the 10 packs of Eneloop batteries (AA and AAA) are in Costco? I know the online price, just wondering how much cheaper they are in store.

New to me at Guandu Costco food court yesterday: $99 for a calzone and drink.

I didn’t try it, because, unusually, I’d made sure to eat lunch before going there. Stupid pizza flavours.

Seafood calzone? that could work
except Bourdain whispering in my ear, “run, don’t walk”
away, not towards

I squinted at a small-font list of ingredients, and I’m fairly sure I made out 牛肉, which is mildly reassuring.

mmm surf n turf calzone
what could go wrong

sorry, it’s a completely invented scenario
i’m prone to that

Could call it taco-zone. At least it sounds good.

Just got the calzone. I love calzones. This is not a calzone. I am not saying this is bad, it’s quite tasty, just not a calzone. There is no pizza sauce inside and not very much cheese. It’s got some tasty meatballs in it though.

Seafood pizza seems to be the one thing that NEVER goes away at Costco, do Taiwanese really like them that much?

They probably do.
However, maybe because I’ve been listening to Kitchen Confidential, it’s a seafood special for a reason

I think it’s cheap and cost-effective to sell because it has no tomato sauce or cheese

Do you?

Taiwanese blood, American heart

No, it’s vile and disgusting. Especially if it’s been left sitting for more than a few minutes out of the oven.

Also seafood pizza has cheese/tomato sauce.
