Australia had similar massive jump.
Nothing to do with the multiple vaccinations that weakened everyone’s immune systems, or locking old people up in their nursing homes and denying them their regular treatments and social bonds, etc. 
Actual reasons for increase in deaths:

Most other governments are saying “we don’t know”. Canada is currently listing “unknown” as one of the top three causes of death. The UK Health Minister recently announced that she doesn’t know why it’s happening either, but that’s OK because it’s happening all over Europe, and they too don’t know why it’s happening.
I’m guessing the Australian position is much the same.
Basically, experts are baffled.

In Japan, the number of deaths after vaccination has increased by 210,000 since 2020, the highest number since the World War II.
People are dying immediately after vaccination, and Japan is flooded with people suffering from vaccine injuries. Under the circumstances, it is reasonable to assume that the unusual excess deaths currently occurring are caused by the vaccine.

Japanese lawmaker Mr. Hirofumi, Yanagase speaks out:
“Just in the reported cases alone, there have been as many as 2001 cases of suspected vaccine-induced deaths. There are 52 cases where a pathologist has performed an autopsy and reported that there is a link between the vaccine and the death. Yet, only one case has been found to have a causal relationship between the vaccine and death.”As for other 2000 cases, the evaluation committee, made up of a group of amateur academics paid by the government declared that they could not evaluate causality due to the lack of information.

That’s fake news. They already announced that medical masks are always exempted because they are medical and you would not wear it if not for medical reasons… Let’s see about demonstrations where another reason could be likely but exempt those it’s very clear they will not fine anyone wearing a medical mask…
They will make the law clearer but right now it’s very clear no one will be fined for wearing masks…

“Masking: Wearing masks is actually forbidden again. If you don’t have a medical certificate with you, you’re probably no longer allowed to wear a mask on public transport in Vienna - strictly speaking. Government is working on a solution.”
“Corona masks are now actually banned on buses and trains in Vienna. In the Austrian capital, a mask was recently required in local transport. Since March 1st, passengers with face masks could get into conflict with the police.”
Apparently, the law in Austria states:
It is not an offence to cover your face in the following situations:
- when coverings are worn for health reasons (such as to protect against infection, air pollution or weather-related factors). For example wearing protective face masks that cover the mouth and nose, respiratory masks; Covering the face to protect it against frostbite.
However, whether a face covering is exempt from the ban must be assessed by police officers on a case-by-case basis .
Consequences of an offence
Anyone who violates the ban on face coverings is committing an administrative offence. Such offences are punishable by an administrative penalty of up to EUR 150.
Each offence will be assessed on an individual basis. Police officers have discretionary powers in this regard, and can decide to issue a simple formal warning.
As a first step, the police officer will speak to the individual involved and explain the prohibition against face coverings. You must remove a face covering immediately and on the spot if requested to do so. If the person involved refuses to remove the face covering despite a warning, if they try to repeat the offence, or if their identity cannot be established, they can be taken to the police station by the police officer.
I guess time will tell if the Austrian police use their discretionary powers to fine maskers w/o medical exemption papers or not. Seems they certainly have the wriggle room to do so if they want.
Also, make sure you carry your papers showing that you’re enrolled in clown school, and on the way there presently
