Forumosa Cricket Club Log after round 9

Elf has built up a commanding lead and despite dropping a game he still got the most points to win the Yellow Cap. :bravo: Kudos also to Matchstick and Stripe who were the only to players to predict all four games correctly and gain a valuable Grand Slam point for the round. :bravo:
Not too many changes on the log. Elf and I stay at 1st and 2nd, but jimipresley moves up from 6th to 3rd. Stripe remains at 4th, with Matchstick at 5th. Lyndfield drops from 3rd to 6th. Almas, Theman and Frikkie remain at 7th, 8th and 9th respectively.

Gayle failed and Afridi has absolutely skull-fcuked the Windies batting lineup. No fat lady here…Pakistan will be thru to the semis once they ‘chasedown’ a pitiful 112. Congrats to the Pakis!!! More than just a chance to go all the way. The Saffers will win as convincingly tomorrow against the Black Craps. Unfortunately, I’m picking the Aussie’s to somehow beat India on Friday and progress all the way to final…which will be hugely disappointing to all the pensioners in the Indian side. I hope the big Ms from the Lanka can stop the Englsh from progressing further…ABAOE-Anyone But Australia Or England.

The West Indies are pathetic. My kindergartners are more professional, less idiotic, and can read a googly in three languages.

Can I gloat???

Sure, why not? In fact, as a Saffa, I completely encourage it!

Oooooooo…there’s the popcorn smiley again! Quick, someone alert But…um…Wo…um…“You Know Who”!

Stop treating a REAL game, in a real life far away from you as if you were watching a mere film…let’s do the bhangra baby, Balle Balle!!! No copporn for you!

Ok, here’s another smiley or four for the Indian smack-down of Aussie. :bravo: :discodance: :notworthy: :discodance:

Edit: It should be said, though, that it was a great game by both sides.

Singh is King! :discodance:

Congrats to the mighty Injuns for stopping the Crims ‘four-peat’.
Black Craps are currently 31/2 through 10 overs. Loads of pressure on Taylor and Jesse ‘whale’ Ryder to put together a huge partnership. Can’t see them making this difficult for the Saffers. Go you KeeWees!!

They didn’t, but it doesn’t help if the Proteas can’t even get 221… Silly bastards. That’s what happens when you change the Springbok emblem for a poofy flower.

That said, well done to New Zealand. :bravo:

Totally surprising result, but great play in fielding by the Craps. Commiserations to SA, really mean that, thought your excellent team could win this year.

Yeah, so did I. Forgot the “Donald Choke Factor”.

Fucking pathetic. Makes makes one want to puke. Nonetheless, there is no other team I’d rather lose to. RESPECT to the Black Craps! I hope they continue and win this damned tournament!

Well that was disappointing. This world cup I really thought we had a team that could go all the way. Might as well start rooting for New Zealand.

On the 30th of March. India will come to a stand still. Offices won’t answer calls, the streets will be deserted. the stock exchange neglected, restaurants won’t do business, shops will be closed…it is the MOTHER of all games.

Hell, Divs! The atmosphere must be ELECTRIC in India right now!

The whole place is like a giant stadium. Even, fat women are talking about sports!

Hello! I am an Indian. Having spent the last 6 years in Singapore; UK; Denmark; etc.), I have recently moved to Taipei. Exceptionally stoked about the BIG match between India and Pakistan on Wednesday (esp. because it is taking place in my home town back home in India.)

Is any Indian or Pakistani going to watch the MEGA semi final on Wednesday at a bar or restaurant? Where are the Indians and Pakistanis watching the match? I am thinking of going to On Tap at No 21, Alley 11, Lane 216, Zhongxiao East Road. Would anyone else like to join me there? Would be fun to watch the match with either of the two sides.

Hope to see some of the enthusiastic fans there!

I live in Tienmou so i’ll be heading over to patio 84, saw the India Australia match on a big LCD, about 15 other Indians dancing and cheering, good fun.

Crappers win an important coin toss and will bat. Hopefully Baz and Guppy can get them off to a good start, tho M&M and M&M will have something to say about that. Most ( me included) wrote NZ off before they took on the Saffers, but I bet Murali and co won’t be making that mistake. Go the mighty Crappers!
