CSB: Time to "consider" territory change? (Here we go again)

Difficult but not impossible. Government interference will only make Western business less competitive in the long run. Those government and business that embrace globalization and unbridle competition will win in the end. Protectionism is just slowing the inevitable. Just study the USA car market and Oil industry for plenty of examples.

The same can be said of CSB and LTH, yet they still have their supporters.

You know full well what caused that and it’s in the title of this thread; it sure as fuck wasn’t the presidential recall.

Zeug, it was what? Maybe if Taiwan had a huge military potential, then China would be more carefull when threating. Investors are wary, but not stupid. If so, the external investment in Taiwan was close to 0, wasn’t it? The cross-strait tensions is nothing more than a small smoke screen, and any good investor will put their money here no matter what. In fact, one of the things I hate about DPP is the way they deal with foreigners and foreign investment. Here is a couple of ideas to put Taiwan on the map:

  • Better banking system, with secrecy (let money start flowing here)
  • No taxes for foreign companies and employees (make the country more competitive in the international market)
  • Heavy investment on Education, by going to the Major Universities in the world (specially the law and IT ones) and inviting the scholars there to come to Taiwan (give them what they want (normally money) and they will come) - Making Taiwan a top country for education is halfway to get international recognition
  • Privatization of the biggest companies, specially to international companies known to be good at lobbing in the right places.
