I was at the tacos do at Yuanshan a couple of weeks ago and an American chap dressed in green gave me a flyer for a St. Patrick’s Day party there on March 20th. Does anyone know if it will be worth attending? I quite fancy going, but I’m not sure what sort of food will be on offer. I can guess the drinks.

Big event but doesn’t look like very Irish music. Also they wrote St Patty on the event page so that’s a no go for me.

Paddy’s day in Ireland is a bit bigger than just getting drunk, it’s a big thing for kids and there’s street parades everywhere and the real Catholics go to mass and wear a sprig of shamrock. Some climb mountains barefoot.

From that angle yeah I guess so. I guess St Pat would be the correct diminutive.
