It could also be that the NIA turns a blind eye to whiteys. That sounds more likely to me.

I was visited when I was in Taipei.
However, the reason might have been that the address on my ARC, and the address on my wife’s ID were different. We were living together, but she had always been registered as living at her cousins house.
