Do you eat White People Food?

other things to get upset about

I’m not upset. It’s just weird.

It’s making fun of a stereotype that doesn’t exist.

Its like what Dave Chapelle was calling white people food. Basic anglosphere stuff. Its not serious, its just funny.

So Anglos represent all whites.

No

you are taking something way to seriously.

No, it’s just dumb that a minority of people are somehow a representative stereotype.

Ok, you win

i just want ONE normal spaghetti carbonara that doesn’t have a sauce with the viscosity of a soup

god i miss being able to cook so badly

I’m not even white. And I’m not offended. Didn’t see much offense upthread, either.

My point was merely that people who eat crap food like that aren’t necessarily white.

The same people laughing about this stereotype of so-called ā€˜white people food’ are the same people that absolutely lose. their. shit. if you mention anything about eating dog.

Yes, have you met them? They are the exact same people?

something something making generalizations something something irony

It usually is the CCP shills and propagandists.

hahahaha yes exactly. Insane levels of irony

Im going to say the metropolitan types who post the memes about white people food are more likely to also be against eating dog or at least accept that others might find it distasteful.

Yes. Thank you for proving me right.

Do you think they would like the memes about Asians eating dogs? Do you think they would laugh along?

I’m fine with Chinese people satirizing white people eating boring lunches. Its funny enough and cant imagine getting upset about it

But do you think they would be fine with satirising Asian people eating dog and insects?

I think people getting upset and offended about this are being as equally sensitive as a Chinese netizen getting upset about some random thing. Two sides of the same the same coin

You also dont see the irony of getting upset about making generalizations about a diverse group of people and then in return making a wild generalization.

Its quite funny, but keep doubling down

Who?

Ive never met them

I agree, it’s funny in the ā€˜asia pretends to know white people’ way. But the problem is that there’s a gulf between us thinking it’s funny and the people who coined it almost certainly actually thinking this is just white ppl food. Not a big problem, and I’m not going to go culture warrior for food because idgaf what the Koreans or Taiwanese think about it lol, but it’s not intended as a joke even if we find it funny.
