It’s fascinating and sad, Jimmy Carter is literally speaking the words of the CCP. I remember watching an interview of him about his trip to China and how nice the Chinese were to him. He literally explained how they wined & dined him continuously the whole trip. He fell for all the bs so easily! After watching that I realized how precarious things can be when we have a leader that doesn’t know what the heck he’s doing, appeasing mega-dictators - and the so called “genius” Brzezinsky who suggested tightening relations with China to counter Russia - what a colossal Moron this guy turned out to be, holy crap. It’s no wonder Jimmy Carter and Brzezinsky spent their later years doing tons of interviews for Chinese television networks. If they weren’t so stupid I would say they were communist spies. Jimmy Carter, bless his heart, is the kind of weak leader who could be scammed at the night market - and his advisor Brzezinsky would be the guy taking him to another vendor to get scammed doubly…

There are other full electric cars before Tesla, and Elon wasn’t the founder of Tesla anyway. The original founder of Tesla, Martin Eberhard was forced to step down by Musk after the first Tesla car, the Roadster, proved to be able to generate hype.
There are plenty equally good electric cars out there, and they are all willing to pitch in and roll out a charging standard. Tesla is more like Apples in the car world to me. It’s all about the hype and proprietary gear to force followers pay through the nose for second hand technology that they’ve branded as their own.

it’s just odd how somebody who got as rich as Musk is this stupid. I remember when he called the dive team rescuing the Thai kids in the cave Pedos because they said his submarine farce was a total shit idea and that he hasn’t got a clue.

And that wouldn’t surprise me about Musk: Buying Twitter to “restore Freedom of speech” and then at some point in the future proudly censoring the internet in Taiwan or the Ukraine to “prevent a nuclear war”…

I still have no idea how he did the whole twitter thing. He pretty much had to overpay the value of twitter by 50% or be left with nothing by getting sued. I really wonder if he’s going to make it work, but twitter is like 90% bots.

He shouldn’t be though, tesla was a company he bought which was already making electric sports cars. His other ideas are rubbish, such as making miles upon miles of tunnels under the roads to use as… roads (but underground).

Do you blame him though? Fed raising rate to borrow for businesses, stock markets are tanking, economy is on the brink of recession, and inflation. Better yet, do you think Americans will start to complain about sending money to Ukraine next?
