I just returned to Taiwan after a few months away. I hate the new one and miss the old classic one. How can they do this?
Frickin love it. Sounds like the original Game Boy Mario game.
Welcome back btw!
I’m so thirsty I don’t normally notice.
Yeah it’s good. But there’s something about the old one that’s soothing if you walk in after a few drinks at 2AM.
NOOOOOOO. That original one reminds me of day trips and CNY because we always set off from the in-laws and the Family is the place we stock up before setting off.
I’m boycotting
I guess I’ve not been in Taiwan long enough to make these associations…
I can’t remember what the new tune is, but it’s a classic north American song. Damn my memory!
I’ve got Save the Last Dance For Me in my head.
Was about to comment and say someone I know said that exact same thing
Then realised it was you
Anybody got a recording of the old one? I’ve been away from Taiwan for so long that I can’t remember it.
Exactly! Brings me back to my childhood… although I’m not as old as @Myn so I’m more of gameboy pocket era
If I had a convenience store, I’d make the entrance song this, whilst all of my staff stare at you intensely.
Ah, thank you! I love that jingle! So much nostalgia hearing that again.
Now I’m sad to learn that it’s gone…
I’m more of a gameboy advance era.
Although the only gameboy I’ve ever owned was the pink Gameboy Micro.
Actually, this advert aired in the UK too.
Interesting! Learn something new every day!
Son, don’t lie. The DS came out when you were like 6.
