Foreigners banking discrimination?

Standard Chartered was the longest for me - it was the only one where I needed to get a new card and reset the online banking details.

Good work! I get the impression that more banks are starting to relent on this, even though it seems to go against what they think they’re supposed to do (and apparently what they’ve been told to do by the Taxation Bureau/MOF). I’ve successfully argued it with Mega Bank and Huanan so far, and will try to do the others when I finally summon up the energy to update other banks with my APRC details.
