Forumosa poster base too narrow?

I think one has to keep in mind that 13-15 years ago there was no public Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp or Line. Forums were the mode of communication and folks eventually met offline.

and there was fewer information online, so maybe more people came here for word of mouth.

My biggest problem with forumosa is that many of the posts wander off topic so fast by the same group of people

that might be the same group of people who post on-topic replies.
