I don’t think you can really compare Friends and Seinfeld…completely different kinds of humor. Seinfeld is much more existential, while Friends has a more conventional story line. For me personally, Seinfeld holds up much better to repeat viewing. Also, the quality of the comic acting in Seinfeld is far superior to Friends. Characters like Elaine and Kramer are comic genius.
