Fubon at least is giving decent credit limits to their customers both personal of business accounts.
Probably pressure from Costco. The larger the limit the more profit for Costco. Seems like Costco has gained a pretty solid foothold in the Taiwanese market
That previous news story where Taiwanese customers were getting ridiculously low credit limits can’t have helped either. I can imagine Costco might have complained about that.
Noticed my interest rate dropped automatically, I guess it’s because I’ve been a good goy and paid everything on time.
Online system would not accept “old” style ARC number so only option was to call the automated line to activate the card. The tracking system accepts the “old” format though 
I got my Fubon Card. I was wondering if y’all got your membership on your card? Fubon rep at Costco said it wasn’t available to foreigners.
Of course I got it, but you need to specifically select it on the form.
that’s BS, never listen to them. Just get the application form and tick the option with membership and photo.
There’s no option that doesn’t have membership as far as I’m aware, isn’t it a co-branded card?! Do you have the Costco logo on your card?
I was told the same in store last Friday and didn’t want to press the issue after having my first mail-in application have issues.
So if approved I will have to get Costco membership card again.
I think he’s referring to not having your photo/number on the card. It’s an option on the sign up form. See this post: Fubon costco credit card - #101 by Whatevah
Also you can get the card without a membership, but if you do there’s an annual fee. I’m not sure why anyone would ever bother though.

#3 states you have a valid Costco membership
If your Fubon Costco credit card has your photo on it, then you’re golden. All you have to bring to Costco is that Fubon card.
Those who got the ‘no photo’ card then you’ll also need to bring your “Costco card” as well.
