This question is ambiguous. As a matter of fact, it has been ambiguously formulated several times in this thread.
Is it cool to let someone believe there’s an exclusive romantic relationship and then secretly get romantically involved with someone else? NO! Men appear to be from an evolutionary standpoint ready to mate with as many females as possible. And modern man seems to want to marry a virgin but wants to have as many girlfriends as possible on the side (now who is actually a virgin in Taiwan?? ).
Plus females tend to be (secret evolutionary trait here) also bangin on the side if they can. Because evolution favors having enough repro material in there as possible .The male lion believes that by being the fittest and fighting off all others hes impregnating the female of his harem with the best gene material , but in reality the smallest of the lions in the group also gets in his share when alpha male is not looking. Some ladies get sex with an anti-hero opposite of her main man on the side.
At the end of the day, the female is very much the same as the male. Same being in a different bod thats all.
Theres a lot more thats the same then is different between the sexes.

No, but thank you for picking me up on this. My omission of comment on the behaviour of men was not meant to suggest either of these characteristics, but I realize that it might have done. I simply chose not to comment on the difficult-to-defend nature of ‘man’

I dunno. It sounds daft, really. Of course we are programmed in certain ways, but we have a choice when someone is in front of us; do I lie or not? Do I act like a cliche or not?

I think that with many people it is a question of instinctive survival, survival of the species, and they do not know whether they are going to be deceptive until confronted with a choice. Those with a well developed sense of ethical behaviour, may chose not to be deceptive and stick to it, possibly to their eventual detriment. Much depends on what they think they can live with. The instinct to survive generally takes precedence over any supposed feelings of guilt, but not always. All IMHO of course.

Well, nothing changed. This girl is keeping playing her game.
She told her BF in Taiwan Jack that John (from USA) is just friend, and she never contact him, but he contacts her all the time, so that is not her fault.
And to John she said same as before, even he is not in Taiwan she still thinks about him when go to bed, even have BF in Taiwan.
Guys knowing about each other do not complain, so girl came as a winner, but for how long we will see.
I can undestand her BF in Taiwan, probable he thinks, i will go home one day so why need to bother. But i can not underatand guy who lives in USA.
He will come in Taiwan next month and he thinks he will get this girl no matter what. Is it just he so crazy or all americans want to get what they want no matter what?
