Yeah he was known for his accent . Actually some English country west accents are close to that , but I thought he was perhaps kiwi or Australian. I should know but that threw me off. I guess his accent was as conflicted as his ideology。
He had more balls that most people ever had.

The document, published by the Global Climate Intelligence Group in August, describes the purported signatories as “scientists and professionals,” not just “scientists.” USA TODAY found hundreds of examples of listed signatories that were not described as scientists − including engineers, medical workers, psychologists, lawyers, architects, philosophers, teachers and information technology and business professionals.
So what’s the problem? Are these people not scientists and professionals? And I thought doctors were always right about everything? And how, exactly, do you get “listed as a scientist”?
I don’t see how either the existence of this document, or the existence of a bunch of liberal-arts wumao who aren’t sure what science is, has any relevance to this debate. Fact-checkers, and USAToday, disgraced themselves as paid propagandists publishing naked lies in 2020. There is no reason to take them seriously. But this “declaration” doesn’t matter much either. I haven’t seen anybody in this thread even attempt to demonstrate that “climate change mitigation” schemes are anything other than scams. And since they look a lot like scams, I’ll stick with that until someone can show that there is benign intent.
I think a qualified fact-checker holding one of the liberal arts degrees you mentioned needs to check your LinkedIn profile.

Maybe I’ve failed to read to the end, but I don’t see any of these before-and-after images in the article, or any description of the nature of the losses apart from “the rate of retreat for these peripheral glaciers has doubled in the last 20 years”. So what are we supposed to conclude from that?
Not sure what your point is. The ‘fascism’ will come from the UN, their spinoff organisations, and compliant governments (who have already demonstrated they like that sort of thing).
In any case, as I said, the article contains no meaningful information as far as I can see.
