Oh not that song !
That song should be hated by Asian kids, I remember the small minority of Asian kids started getting challenged to fights. There was this one Korean kid (korean genetically) near me who got chased by about 20 white English kids, he would run about 20 seconds until the group thinned out then launch a kick knock one down or backwards then run again wait till they thinned out and kick another one lol. Martial arts were not commonly studied back then among whites (boxing aside and some karate). I was too young to help the kid out me being about 10 and they about 16.
I remember a friend showing me this beautiful hard cover book on martial arts, I stopped on one page and said something like “wow who is that guy” he said "Oh he is called Bruce Lee a Kung Fu guy.
Strict Asian parents not letting you date is part of the many elements on why Asian men are often not viewed as a stud, I guess. I grew up knowing hardly any Asian guys and hearing about all this stuff online makes me wonder how is it really like? Is it really as bad as I am hearing about? I would like to hear some thoughts from them.
Also I heard Ken Jeong is a very controversial figure in the Asian American community. How come?
It’s ironic how Asians supposedly make up the largest percentage of the human population yet they are the smallest ethnic/racial group in America. The vast majority of Asians are from Asia so American Asians make or Asians that aren’t from Asia make up an extremely tiny percentage of Asians in general.
Should we have more? I mean, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, have done pretty well for themselves economically in the past four or five decades. Why leave if you’re doing alright?
Do you think if China or North Korea allowed people to attempt immigration to America, the numbers would shift in a dramatic fashion in one direction or another?
Yes, and it was dismissed as a bunch of garbage spewed by the dregs of the internet. There’s nothing more to discuss about it. And it’s not a “dilemma” except for those who see it that way. Do you? Because I don’t.
Here’s a link to a website made by a lovely ray of sunshine named Eurasian Tiger (who also goes by Eurasian Writer)
If you couldn’t tell, that was sarcasm. That dude is one miserable word I cannot say because I could get in trouble for saying it.
I find him offensive to half Asians with white dads and Asian moms.
He is a half Asian with a white dad and Asian mom as well and he seemed to have really terrible parents . His website takes a teensy gram of truth, extorts it, and creates a form of propaganda as a form of retaliation against WMAF couples, including his own parents. On the other hand, he praises Asian male, white female couples. Yep, it’s pretty much “WMAF evil, AMWF good” propaganda.
But it’s so prevalent and righteously out-there on the Internet (or at least whenever anything related to Asian Americans , Asian interracial dating or hapa parents comes up) that I can’t just deny that what they are saying has a grain of truth to it. Perhaps this is stuff you take with a grain or salt, no more or less. I may not have witnessed this IRL but that might be because I grew up in a suburban area that barely has any Asians.
P.S. This thread started 2 months and it won’t die even though my dad wants me to kill the thread.
You just provided a textbook example of people who buy into fake news and internet gossip. You admit you haven’t witnessed it in real life, and yet you still think there’s some truth to it because some dipshits online claim it is. Just stop.
