I donāt know if I made it to 48 hours but I had to stay up for a really long time when I was flying back to Taiwan once a few years ago. I ran into a typhoon in Japan and couldnāt make my connecting flight to Taipei. Instead of putting me up for the night they did the thing where they just kept me in transit until I could reach my destination, so I had to fly all the way out to Thailand and then back to Taiwan from there. Iāve never been so tired in my life.
