Please do.

How’d you uncover that, doc?

Is that health pot business competing with yours?

Just did a search using the language on the notice:

非本國籍貴賓恕暫不提供服務

Maybe since you’re only half foreigner they’ll let you get takeout?

Just for the record, this is a complete falsehood.

Shit. I was gone for like five minutes. What the hell happened? :open_mouth:

I once was on the receiving end of a Taiwanese guy raising his voice slightly.

EDIT: There was another time when a scooter rider got off his scooter and looked at me angrily. Nothing came of it, we nodded and that was that.

I was once chased out of a Sichuan joint on Lishui Street in Taipei. Not sure if it was because I was dining alone (heaven forbid) or my pale face. Either way, the boss wanted nothing to do with me.

It stung at first, but then I thought of all the amazing places I love that also welcome me warmly. I’m happy to give the good guys my cash. : D

Once a guy yelled stuff at me from inside his car–lol–outside that old Roxy on Bade.

My mommy is still pretty scary when I push her too far.

In any population there are going to be guys who are up for a bit of violence, but IME at least random violence has been non-existent in Taiwan. That’s not to diminish or cast doubt on the experience of others, but I think the stats back up my experience.

Yeah, well, she probably wouldn’t be if you cleaned up your room and maybe lowered yourself to wash a fucking dish every now and then…

Just sayin

Would you believe it if I said it’s an attitude problem?

Yours or hers…or both?
