Quenton–I hate to tell you this, but the chances that it’s YOU she’s interested in are not good. Other guys might not be so difficult. And I bet she can tell that he’s a kind person by watching his interractions with others.

No, I don’t think that would work well with most TW men. Too subtle. Sometimes you have to club a guy over the head. But I’m betting the the waiguo will be quicker to pick up on the op’s intentions.
You’ve got it backwards. There are lots of hot girls that as soon as I hear them open their mouths I want to chop their heads off. I mean that in a totally non-misogynistic way. I’m physically attracted to lots of women but am emotionally/intellectually compatible with .0001% of them. Frankly, most of the people I meet bore me to death. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think the OP is trying to necessarily ‘catch his eye’ in the attraction / sexual / relationship sense. It seems like she just wants to talk to a ‘foreigner,’ probably just to practice her English because she is going to ‘leave there’ (live abroad in an English-speaking country maybe?). Just guessin’.
