I live in Taiwan, and can speak only english. What site can I go to to find menial work like meat processor or construction? Thanks in advance.

Maybe you had better luck in Japan where such work is well paid. Menial work in Taiwan is not and most foreigners who do it are Filipinos, Indonesians, and other Southeast Asians from poor countries. As a native English speaker you can make twice as much even at the lowest paid buxiban like Global Village.
It all depends on your visa status. You can only work if you have legal authorization.
How is it that you’re in Taiwan? Visitor visa? JFRV?
What is your current visa status? The answer to this question will be the most important in determining what work you are able to do.

Convenience stores can hire you if you got open work rights through spousal ARC.
Probably have more lock outside Taipei, in New Taipei
A convenience store is not going to hire someone who can’t speak Mandarin.

Convenience store? But if you don’t speak mandarin or Taiwanese you will have problems because you gotta speak to people.

I suggest that the first place you go is the Training and Employment Center run by your local city or county labor department/bureau (they have different names in English). Go in person. Like this one.

They have two jobs in the meat industry central Taiwan (Yunlin, Changhwa, Nantou)

All work is honorable. There is no such thing as menial work. I understand that English may not be your native language.

Maybe there’s less responsibility?
In addition to the construction jobs in New Taipei I listed in another post, I found 31 jobs related to meat in New Taipei on TaiwanJobs by searching for 肉 and ‘New Taipei’
For example, here’s one in Linkou that seems to be related to meatpacking.
