How do I find menial work in Taipei?

He already said he doesn’t have Mandarin language skills. English only atm.

The suggestions I made above do not require Mandarin.

Not sure how I stumbled across this thread… anyway, I suppose that the OP just really does not want to deal with people, and therefore is seeking “menial work.” Can’t blame him entirely… dealing with locals is nearly intolerable most of the time.

During Covid, when my regular job’s branch was closed, I worked in supermarket for a while and moving and restocking packages of beverages (usually 9 to 12kg) was so relaxing.
Exercise, but not super heavy, felt like meditation on the move.

Apparently not many others wanted to do it, but I found it better than anything else I did there.

I worked in a grocery store in college… I actually kind of enjoyed it. I worked at 3 different stores, one in the hood, one in the suburbs and another one in a pretty regular city neighborhood. best thing to do it make friends with at least one guy in the meat department. I was getting ribeye for the price of hamburger, lol…
