she’s new to the company. She started working here on Aug. 1
I don’t think that’s correct.
@roman1 , did you ask your girlfriend (from other thread) if you can have a meal with your female manager? And record conversation for us, please.
the female manager is the one whom I invited to have a meal together.
So whose your gf ? There are two different women?
gotcha. that’s what I guessed, but when you said you rarely worked with her it suggested she might have been there longer. definitely don’t date the new manager.
At least 2 ;=)
Just give us her line account number. one of us can sort it out for you and remove all unknowns in about three minutes. ![]()
I asked her to have a meal together with me this week. She said we can. She then suggested a number of places.
the gf is hypothetical. The female manager is the one whom I invited to have a meal together.
What gf?
He never mentioned a gf did he?
Talk about. A gaggle of nosy grandmas. ![]()
So you’re referring to her as your girlfriend before you’ve gone to a dinner that you don’t even know is a date or not? duuuuuuude.
She immediately agreed and suggested a number of places.
it was a hypothetical question.
I think the point is that you would be ok with a relationship with this woman, right?
So pick a medium nice place to eat, pick up the check, step up to the plate and take your swings.
yes, I just am really nervous b/c if the relationship doesn’t work out. It could blow up in my face. I don’t know how she’ll react.
Meh— if it doesn’t, move on. She’s not your boss now, right?
You young-uns worry too much.
If the old days a date would be to an MTV. ![]()
Just have dinner with her. In Taiwan dating and dinner isn’t same. Many women have dinner with a guy and it’s never a date. Heck women in Taiwan would say she like you and it’s still doesn’t mean she really do. She might hug u and means nothing.
So it’s just a dinner. Or be brave and ask her if this is a date.
Don’t shit where you eat. There’s plenty of fish in the sea. Stop overthinking. We’ll all be dead soon.
really? I thought dinner meant that you were interested in the gal. She said we could get to know each other better.
