Yes, seems like that. Maybe Canada can ban Boeing aeroplanes.

Based on the fact that Canada has wrongfully, illegally, and steadfastly refused to certify the Gulfstream 500, 600, 700, and 800 Jets, one of the greatest, most technologically advanced airplanes ever made, we are hereby decertifying their Bombardier Global Expresses, and all Aircraft made in Canada, until such time as Gulfstream, a Great American Company, is fully certified, as it should have been many years ago

Not that it needs to be said, but what a dumb motherfucker. A dumb motherfucker that’s wrong. The 500 and 600 are certified. The 700 only got certified in the US in 2024 and the 800 last april.

And why aren’t the 700 and 800 certified? Because they haven’t passed fuel icing cert yet. Maybe Canadians think that’s kind of important.

More unnecessary drama from this administration. What a surprise.

This fat fuck is really flailing around now, doing as much as possible to throw a wrench in everything. More smoke to distract from the Epstein situation I guess. A rabid dog.

Boeing actually makes parts in Canada, so decertification of Boeing

Supply chains very much global for aircraft. Can’t see that it’s possible to say “made in…”

Has Canada ended supply management yet?

As usual, TACO Don. After CEOS from all over the US were yelling at the WH to “Tell that fucking idiot to STFU” they started backtracking immediately.

The County Court of Victoria sentenced a Taiwanese backpacker (working holiday visa holder) to 6 years and 2 months in prison

“You pursued a terrifying vendetta, affecting numerous victims, in a premeditated course of conduct, involving arson, dangerous driving, criminal damage, extortion and of course the charges relating to your reckless conduct.” Judge Carolene Gwynn

There is no limit of WHV issued to Taiwanese passport holders. Taiwan does limit the number of Australians who are eligible but also does not provide a reciprocal experience in practice.

Is it time to for Australia to begin a quota for Taiwanese or better yet, stop using WHV for temporary workers and start a visa specific to temporary agricultural work

Reciprocity with Taiwanese characteristics. It only matters when they don’t get what they want.

The landlord says (in an accent that sounds very much like he is a Mandarin speaker)
“I don’t care how long she’s in prison as long as she forced to return to Taiwan when she’s out”

Translation “IDGAF about her as long as she leaves me TF alone”

That one will require to be chaperoned directly to the airport upon release

scary!

For the news, it looks awful for people there (Big North American airport it is)

Follow-up news with a bit more chaos ensuing. I would expect to see quite a few more dead mayors and police chiefs in the coming months.

Now you have worry about these issues in the aeroplane it seems

No mention of the nationality or race of the passenger.

If the flight attendant was black, and the flight was going to Taipei, and they don’t give us the information, I guess it is an Asian man.

Oh man at first I thought this was another @Anthisan thread…

He identifies as white:

A heated verbal argument ensued in which [passenger] called [flight attendant] a “n*****,” stated [flight attendant] was only treating [passenger] that way because [passenger] was white

Oh, my bad, I missed that

You really have to wonder what goes through people’s heads. :man_facepalming: Probably drunk off their ass…Always thought it was a bit pathetic when someone gets boozed up on a plane, but I guess complementary alcohol is too much of a temptation for some.
