Now in my 30s, I see the appeal of both dating a younger women or a woman my age.
If I’m honest, I feel like I’m 20 in my mind. My body doesn’t always feel the same at the gym but mentally I feel like im pretending to be an adult. I don’t know if you guys feel the same or it’s just me. Not sure if there’s a certain age or event like having a kid that changes this but I don’t really feel like someone in their 30s. My hobbies still include playing video games and playing sports.
I can see why I’d like to date a younger women in their 20s based on this.
But then again, when I see how weird these younger people are these days. Idk. The younger generation honestly don’t act like younger people.
For example I met the kid of my employee and their friends, they are the cool and popular crowd in school apparently. But to me they are so lame. The cool kids back in day were rebellious, they seemed very conformist. They don’t smoke weed or party hard. I felt like they would have been the kids that got bullied back in my time
It’s all very confusing. Reminds me of 22 jump street when they go back to HS and the cool kids were driving hybrids to save the environment and was shitting on the V8 muscle cars gas mileage.
Age gap between Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Ewan McGregor is also 14. It took them breaking up their own families to get together, so not having to do so the age gap seems fine.
I am 42. I feel physically 60 (at least some days) and emotionally/mentally still 25 (at least some days). I actually don’t have that many aches and pains compared to some friends my age, but I just get so tired now. I often need that “dad nap” and then I feel like a bum after.

Why do you give a shit what others think? Is it bad? No. Is it likely to fail? Yes because most humans are stupid and get even more stupid when it comes to the opposite sex
