Is it illegal to date a married woman in Taiwan?

If you’re getting beaten up by gangsters, isn’t there a good chance it is the police that’s already there?

Matt

Well I guess I shoulda called the cops on the guy porking my (then) wife. And I did consider to beat him up. But her beggin me not to do it convinced me. And you know what?? It wouldve been an entire waste of my time. If you wife is cheatin on you, shes equally guilty. Just let her go. Aint worth the time.
So according to the law here, what does qualify as sex?
petting, oral or only penetration?
I think the “Bill Clinton” (ie blowjob) is legal. Its the penetration of the vagina with the penis. Need to be clear for some of the lawyer types , that can be illegal.

At any rate petting the cat and kissing the cat is hard to prove.

Course we are not talking bout the police and hubby knocking on the door. Or the mans friends here.

According to our local laws, the husband should get some effective evidences to ask the police to take the legal actions. Just like following with you and his wife, and seeing both of you enter a hotel room or some private spaces. Then they will try to knock the door out to take photos of you both with the room environments, and check the trash can to get the dirty tissues to be the evidences. Then the husband can sue you. The police with the husband will be the official witness in the court. The judge will judge this case according to the photos(the best one should show the naked body) and dirty tissues(with DNA test). Other evidences cannot be so powerful as these what I said.

The worst result for you is only asked to do some financial compensations for the husband. Why the husband has to sue is only for preventing the marriage of you and his wife. This kind of this legal case is common here. Although I am not a lawyer, my uncle was a judge leader in a big court center. I know some relatives were in this kind of legal trouble.

I think you should save you time and money to do something good for your family. To meet a stranger is not a safe thing for you. If the woman’s husband is a leader of a illegal party, no one will protect you, even the local police.

Don’t think so much. Good luck.

Only date with no sex is legal. But even have sex you fly away, what the husband will do? only nothing. Many people don’t sue for sex, but sue for money. If you are not rich, you are safe than average.

IF you cant pay, then the chances of you getting hurt (BEat up ) is much higher.

Example #1 - I date this hot married woman and the relationship was consummated in a room at the Taipei Hyatt… (me flying to Taipei to meet her)

Example #2 - same as above, except the relationship was consummated at the Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu (she flying to Honolulu and meet me)

Bragging like this is so unbecoming.
Really? I thought he was desperate that he couldn’t get a woman closer to home. I feel quite sorry for him. I’ve known few people to have to spend so much time and money to fly across the world to shag someone. Poor lad! There are institutions that deal with this kind of need at a fraction of the expense you know.

And, of course, one should notify members of the Taiwanese media - TVBS, CTI, TiTyTV and all of the print media representatives, especially APPLE NEWS (they have the best photos) when doing such as this. Followed immediately by onscreen crying and appropriate righteous indignation…a few Pie Says and all theatrics needed to sway the crooked courts into a rather large monetary compensation package - it is all about the $$$ here on the island.

And if you beat the bin lang snot outta the cuckold, or woman, you must act contrite and say you’re sorry…it means so much to the locals here…actual sincerity is completely optional…just make it look good.

Oh…and don’t forget to have the media there when you go to the appropriate ‘temple’ and burn joss for good luck in finding a new honey. It looks so good for you in court.

And oh yes…always follow the island mantra…“Don’t think too much”…especially while making important decisions and operating vehicles on the roadways.

:astonished: What color shades are we exactly talking about here?

My divorce lawyer told me you need pictures that would be pornographic in nature… actually seeing his thingy in her thingy… to actually prove that they were having sex.

After I split from my wife, my girlfriend after that always made sure my place was deadbolted and chained, because as my divorce was not finalized yet, the ex could try to get in and take pics and then sue both of us, me and the girlfriend for adultery.

The funny thing I thought about that was that adultery is one of the 10 legal reason to obtain a divorce so it may have sped the divorce process up and saved me alot in lawyers fees…

Life can be strange and exciting…

Well if you had been caught, I would imagine that sole custody would have been tough for you to get.

A slice off a cut loaf is never missed…

Not sure how that last bit fits in with the above, but I’ve heard that one more than a few times…

As of 2021: No

I think I agree with that decision. Not a fan of marriage and all those restrictions.

Even in the old days you don’t need to go to jail if you could afford the fine. One of the interesting things about this is, that the plaintiff could decide to sue only the third party but not their spouse.

Though adultery is not a crime in Taiwan anymore, it is still possible to bring this to a civil court.

But the court can’t do anything if the actu N is conducted at a place outside of its jurisdiction. So go for the Honolulu plan if you just have to sleep with a married person.

How about people’s RoC, do the courts consider it in their jurisdiction since the RoC constitution officially does.

Bangkok’s much closer.

In reality, no. RoC constitution is as well structured as grade student’s homework. It states that RoC should “maitain it’s current territory” without naming or listing it’s territory(依其固有之疆域,不採列舉方式). And considering the fact that the constitutional law was composed in some point around 1936, it was when Taiwan was still a Japanese colony.

I vaguely remember that some people tried to get the constitutional court (not sure about the translation) to elaborate on “current territory” and the court/authority would just come up with all kinds of bizarre reasons to dudge the bullet lol

The high seas is obviously a more cultured choice. 公海到了沒?
